About This Agreement
This Data Processing Addendum (DPA) forms part of the agreement between employers/partners and EliteJobs Rwanda. It outlines our commitments and obligations when processing personal data on behalf of our clients in accordance with applicable Rwandan data protection laws.

Obligations of the Processor
Confidentiality
Ensure all personnel processing data are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Security Measures
Implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures including encryption, access controls, and activity logging.
Sub-Processors
Only engage sub-processors under written agreements ensuring equivalent data protection obligations.
Breach Notification
Notify the Controller without undue delay upon becoming aware of a personal data breach.
Data Deletion
Upon termination of services, delete or return personal data unless legally required to retain it.
Cross-Border Data Transfers
Personal data shall not be transferred outside Rwanda unless adequate safeguards are implemented in compliance with applicable Rwandan data protection regulations.
Audit Rights
The Controller may request reasonable documentation demonstrating compliance with data protection obligations.
Liability
Each party remains responsible for compliance with applicable Rwandan laws. Liability is limited to direct damages arising from proven contractual breaches.
Governing Law
This Data Processing Addendum is governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda.
