Welcome to EliteJobs Rwanda (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our platform at https://elitejobs.rw (the “Service”). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
Definitions
- User
- Any person accessing or using the Service.
- Job Seeker
- A User who creates a profile to search and apply for job opportunities.
- Employer
- A User who posts job openings or contracts EliteJobs to find candidates.
- Content
- Text, data, listings, profiles, files or information uploaded to the Service.
- Rwandan Law
- The laws, regulations, and statutory instruments of the Republic of Rwanda.
General Terms
Eligibility
By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under Rwandan Law. Minors are not permitted to register on this platform.
Account Responsibility
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. You agree not to share your password or let others use your account. We are not responsible for any loss or damage from unauthorized account use.
Lawful Use
You agree to use the Service in compliance with applicable Rwandan Law, including laws governing employment, privacy, fake listings, and fraud. You must not post misleading, harmful, malicious, or discriminatory content.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify Users of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
Terms for Job Seekers
Profile Information
Job Seekers agree to provide accurate, current, and complete personal information. You consent to the storage and processing of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Rwandan data protection laws.
Job Applications
You may search and apply for employment opportunities. Employers are solely responsible for hiring decisions. We do not guarantee that applications will lead to employment.
Prohibited Actions
Job Seekers must not submit false resumes, fraudulent credentials, or impersonate others. Any detected abuse may lead to suspension or termination of your account.
Disputes
If a dispute arises between you and an employer, you release EliteJobs from any liability. We may provide support or documentation but are not responsible for dispute resolution.
Terms for Employers
Job Posts
Employers may submit job requests for posting. All job descriptions must be truthful, lawful, and non-discriminatory in compliance with Rwandan Labour Law and international standards.
Vetting Candidates
Employers are responsible for vetting and selecting candidates. We do not guarantee candidate suitability, legal compliance of hire, or employment success.
Fees and Payments
Where applicable, employers agree to pay published platform fees. Failure to pay may result in removal of job postings or suspension of services.
Prohibited Content
Employers must not post unlawful job offers (e.g., requiring unlawful acts, discrimination, exploitation). Misleading posts may be removed and accounts terminated.
Liability
Employers release EliteJobs from liability related to hiring decisions, job matches, and employment outcomes. Employers are responsible for compliance with Rwandan Labour regulations.
Intellectual Property
Ownership
All intellectual property on the Service, including trademarks, logos, software code, design, and content provided by EliteJobs, is owned by EliteJobs or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute materials without express permission.
User Content
By submitting content, you grant EliteJobs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service.
Privacy
Your use of personal and sensitive data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use and protect your data in accordance with Rwandan data protection laws.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
No Guarantee
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of job listings, or employment results.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, EliteJobs and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Termination and Suspension
We may terminate or suspend your access for breach of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may also deactivate your account at any time through account settings.
Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any legal actions will be submitted to courts with competent jurisdiction in Rwanda.
